Episode #126 of AFRS's Command Performance, was recorded today and broadcast July 23, 1944. Hosted by Bob Hope, it was titled the "All Western Program" and starred The Andrews Sisters, Cottenseed Clark, Carole Landis, Johnny Mercer, The Riders Of The Purple Sage, Roy Rogers and Frank Sinatra, with the AFRS Orchestra conducted by Major Meredith Willson. Frank sang "San Antonio Rose" with The Riders Of The Purple Sage.[1]
